AmeriLife Group (“AmeriLife” or the “Company”), the nation’s premier independent distributor of annuity, life and health insurance products focused on serving the senior market, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC (“J.C. Flowers”), a leading private investment firm dedicated to investing in the global financial services industry, from Reservoir Capital Group and Black Diamond Capital Partners.

AmeriLife, the seniors-focused annuity, life and health insurance firm, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by J.C. Flowers, a major investor in the global financial services industry. The details of the deal have not been disclosed. AmeriLife management will reinvest some of their proceeds from the sale. The current owners are Reservoir Capital Group and Black Diamond Capital Partners. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.

AmeriLife, an annuity, life and health insurance marketing group, has hired Scott R. Perry as CEO. Previously, Perry worked at CNO Financial Group in Chicago where he served as chief business officer. AmeriLife is backed by J.C. Flowers & Co.
